I grew up at the beach and currently live on an island so the beach is home to me\u2014the sound of the waves, the salty air, and that golden glow the sun casts over everything. But before any seaside adventure, there\u2019s always the question: what do I bring, and how do I carry it all?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s how my crochet raffia tropical beach bag<\/a><\/strong> was born.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I wanted something light yet sturdy, roomy yet stylish, and most importantly, something that captured the spirit of summer. The Eco-friendly raffia I used turned out to be the perfect material. It’s durable, able to stand up to the sun, sand, and wet towels but best of all its environmentally friendly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I take this bag with me, it\u2019s more than just a carryall\u2014it\u2019s part of the ritual. Tossing in a rolled-up towel, my sunscreen, a good book or Kindle, and a pair of sunglasses instantly feels like the start of a mini holiday. The raffia handles don\u2019t dig into my shoulder, even when the bag is packed, and I love how the bright colors and shell trim really gives the bag a pop!<\/p>\n\n\n

One of my favorite memories with this bag was a lazy Sunday spent by the shore. I packed fresh fruit, a notebook, and yarn for a small project (yes, I crochet by the sea sometimes!).
